Will Bourne is a veteran features and investigative editor/writer whose work has appeared in numerous national magazines, including Esquire, Harper's, and Fortune. In 2000, he edited an award-winning Fortune story about Russian oligarchs, big business, and organized crime; other investigative editing has focused on piracy in the pharmaceutical industry, the Martin Frankel/Vatican case, and the influence of corporate interests on environmental policy. After 9/11, he spent two months in India and Pakistan, where he filed a report for Fortune on Kashmir; on returning to the U.S., he collaborated on a Pakistan expose that won prizes from the Overseas Press Club and the Society of Professional Journalists (New York), as well as the Daniel Pearl award. Early in his career he worked at the International Herald Tribune in Paris and Seven Days magazine in New York. He is a phi beta kappa graduate of Reed College in Oregon. Bourne is currently the deputy editor of Fast Company magazine.
