May 4, 2006: RUSSIAN COURT EXPECTED TO ISSUE VERDICT ON FRIDAY IN THE MURDER TRIAL OF FORBES JOURNALIST PAUL KLEBNIKOV
Washington, DC - The Russian court ended Thursday's deliberations late in the evening and will reconvene in the morning.   It is expected they will issue a verdict by COB Friday Moscow time.
WHAT:    Family members of slain American Journalist Paul Klebnikov will discuss the verdict in the Russian trial of two suspects in his 2004 murder.
WHEN:    Friday, May 5. Late morning or early afternoon.
WHERE:   Media will be alerted immediately on the time and location as soon as the court decision has been issued.
WHO:     Paul's brothers, Michael Klebnikov and Peter Klebnikov, will be available to answer media questions.
At the time of his death, Paul Klebnikov was the editor of Forbes Russia and reported on Russian business and political issues for the publication for many years.   Five suspects were identified by the Russian Prosecutor
General's office and two of them were captured and put on trial.   The reasons for Paul's murder and those who ordered the crime are unknown.
